Quartino Ristorante
Did someone say Italian Food?!
If you are in the mood for some delicious authentic Italian food, this is a must read! You will be salivating by the end of this post.
So first, let’s start with the atmosphere. As you enter the restaurant, you have a sense of a home like feeling. There isn’t anything fancy about the interior. It’s subtle and simple, and not a restaurant that is screaming “look at me”. You really have to appreciate that aspect because you begin to focus on who you’re with and the food you share together.
So let’s get started on what I ordered! (This is my favorite part!)
Veal Meatball Slider: 4/5 This was good! Savory and a bit sweet from the sauce, the meatball was enjoyable. The arugula gave a little bitterness but played well with the sauce. Giardiniera was on the side for a bright vinegar flavor.
Dates Wrapped in Pancetta: 5/5. If you love dates, this one is for you. It is stuffed with Gorgonzola Dolce and drizzled with honey.
Tortellini: 4/5. Made with Alfredo sauce, peas, and prosciutto. Although I finished the plate, I felt there was a lack of flavor in the tortellini. But don’t underestimate the main component, the prosciutto was strategically placed in this dish for elevated flavor.
Prosciutto: 5/5. So we ordered another round of meat because, well, it’s so worth it! It’s salty and moist. It has multiple levels of flavor that come in waves. The best flavor, definitely a must-try!
Margherita Pizza: 4/5 Mozzarella, tomato sauce, and sweet basil on top. If you want something simple yet delicious, this is it! This was a great way to wrap up dinner!
But wait! There’s more! I was kidding about wrapping up dinner with pizza. If you really must know, the correct way to wrap up dinner is indulging in dessert. Tiramisu to be more specific.
Tiramisu: 5/5 This cake was devoured in seconds. I kid you not. So, so good! The cream was sweet, perfect amount of cocoa, and the cake to cream ratio was on point.
Are you salivating yet? So what are you waiting for?! Make a trip the next time you are in the area. This restaurant was a solid 4 stars out of 5 for me. I would recommend this restaurant for large parties, and kids are more than welcome here. Comment down below if you have any favorite dishes from Quartino!
